Seche Vite Topcoat

Topcoats don't get any better than this. If you want a salon-worthy manicure, this is the only way to go. Seche Vite not only makes your manicure extremely smooth and glossy, it not only (somehow) makes bubbles formed in the color coat magically dissapear, it not only is odorless, it not only lasts for an incredible 10 days, it not only stays put during application and doesn't drip all over your cuticles, it not only doesn't smudge wet polish, it not only costs a measly $7.00, which is very cheap for a high quality top coat, but it also manages to do all this while drying bone hard in thirty seconds, yes, litterally, half a minute, which means by the time you've moved on to your right hand, your left hand should be totally dry. After one minute of drying, I was able to play guitar fingerstyle without making a mark on my manicure. The only topcoat equal to Seche Vite is Borghese Presto, which is basically the exact same thing. The only advantage Seche Vite has over Presto is the fact that you can purchase a huge refill bottle of Seche Vite, which you'll want, because you will find yourself using it that often. No really, you may never a proffesional manicure again, it's that good.

Water's Edge, what a relaxing name. The shade really reminds me of a spa for some reason, not the others, (which are coming soon!) they remind me more of the poolside, since the are much brighter, but this shade is some type of muted teal. Very, very pretty. As you can see, it almost looks like a mint green in the shade, but takes on more of a dusty blue in the sunlight. On average, it ranges in between both of those shades, but my bloody camera won't do the color justice. This is part of three shade collection by L'oreal. I'll do the other two swatches soon, as sonn as I can find the laquers at the drugstore. I have to say that L'oreal nail polishes really do match up the proffesional ones. The formula is very opaque, creamy, smooth, and glossy. While I did use Seche Vite (which I'll be getting to later) on this manicure, I only needed it to dry my nails, the polish was so glossy, I didn't need a topcoat otherwise. The only thing I should point out is that each color in this collection is an exact duplicate to Essie's Sag Harbour collection, which is not a bad thing really if like me, you missed it. All in all, a fantastic aqua-teal hybrid, if you're into colors like this and don't already have Greenport, of the Sag Harbour collection, then you should really add this one to your inventory.

Well...Here Goes Nothing...

So, I created this blog because I have way too much time on my hands, and way too many beauty products, so I thought I'd share them with you. Why be selfish, right? I'll try to include photographs whenever I can, because as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, which is a very good thing, since I could never write a thousand words in one blog post (being adhd and all.) Just, please ignore my crappy photography skills, I'm working on it, I promise. That's it for now though, so enjoy the blog.
