OPI Bogota Blackberry

As I was cleaning my bathroom the other day, I found some old OPIs and Essies that I thought I should swatch-you know, just for the hell of it. Now in the bottle, I really liked this one. It looked like a very blackened blood red with some serious glow, rather than plain old frosty shimmer. However, once I put it on I was a bit dissapointed. It turned out to be a very frosty red, very, very VERY christmas-y. It's not quite as tomato-ish as it looks in the swatch, and has some blue tones, which sadly make it even more reminiscent of christmas. Think cranberries drenched in red glitter. It's not necesarrily a bad color, it's just so not my thing, atleast not in the January to November range. It's seriously ten times easier for me to pull off a highliter yellow. Speaking of which.... Oh, by the way, how do you like my new watermarks? Lots of people are stealling pictures from other blogs without giving the photographer any credit, so this is my new insurance policy.
